Startup - How skip F4 Settings alert?

I'm running W-XP 'Homie', and dual HDs. I am not connected to a network.

Each time I do a restart, the BIOS settings screen intercedes and I have
to do the; F4 => [ n ] Save changes => Exit, routine.

Is there a way to skip this annoyance? I assume there are some slight
irregularities on my slave drive; but they are negligible.

Happy trails,

If you are getting a BIOS message to save settings upon startup, your
motherboard battery probably needs to be changed. I don't know why you
think this has anything to do with your slave drive since you didn't
provide any details about that.

Try replacing your motherboard battery - very inexpensive and easy to
do. If that solves the problem, fine. If not and you want more help,
provide details about what "slight irregularities" is supposed to mean.
