The error message and code is
A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking
the license for this computer. Error code: 0x80070002.
Searched the database, and the problem is that the code in
question is for a "dell computer" after an upgrade.
Whereas this computer isn't a Dell, and the error occurs
when upgrading from either Xp Home or Windows ME.
Tried the solution described in the knowledge base, but
that was ineffective.
