My computer seems to go over to chkdsk everytime i startup my computer. And it
finds no problem with file systems either.
Plus ,It takes a long time to shut down as well.I don't have too many
programs running in the memory either.
I run regularly spybot and other spyware detection softwares too.
what can i do?

Go to START, RUN, MSCONFIG.

Start with a DIAGNOSTIC STARTUP, reboot. If problem is solved, run msconfig
again select SELECTIVE STARTUP, clear all the checkboxes except STARUP
ITEMS, reboot, if problem is still solved, go back to msconfig, SELECTIVE
STARTUP and enable the SYSTEM SERVICES checkbox. reboot and repeat this
procedure until the error reoccurs to isolate where the problem lies.

If this doesn't work try unplugging all peripherals from your computer
(printers, scanners, etc) reboot. If problem fixed, plug them back in one at
a time and reboot. If its an external device, you need an updated driver.
