Starting windows XP

Can anyone help.
When my computer starts a message saying diskette drive 0 seek failure and
secondary drive 1 not found.I then have to press F1 where I can choose to
enter Windows XP or the rcovery boot console.
How can I rectify this?

Do you have a floppy disk drive? If you do, then something is wrong
with it. If you don't, well, your computer's bios is configured telling
the computer that you do.
 
What are you trying to ask? Are you asking about when the OS boots it doesnt
reconizge ur disks (hard drive, floppy)? if so, go into your BIOS settings
and check if the disk are disables or not.
