Starting Lotus

Recently I upgraded Windows 98 to XP. Everything went
fine, except for Lotus 123. When you call it up it
starts correctly, but after about 5 seconds it shuts
down. There are no error messages. I tried the screen
where you reconfigure the program, but that did not do
the job. Can someone out there come up with some answers.

The earlier versions of Lotus do not work with XP.

The Millennium edition, ver 9.5, and above will work. I had to
upgrade to it and it works fine. Save your Work directory files and
then reload them, they will work fine.

Do a Google search for Lotus and you can find OEM versions for around
$ 25. I got mine from: www.directdeals.com

I bought a Retail version of 9.5 Smartsuite on Ebay last year for £8 -
that's about 12 US$!
