Hi,
It doesn't slow down your logon, however if you wish to disable it from
loading you also need to check the settings of other software loading at
boot. For instance, if you have outlook express loading at startup and it is
set to launch messenger, then both will load at boot. Check your program
settings for the option to disable it.
