Starting a web page from 'run' box

When I click on 'run' and type in a web address, I get a message saying
'Application not found'.
Have I inadvertently switched this off somehow?

What happen if you Right click your Start and select properties then check
these settings:
Start Menu:

(*) Start Menu
Select this menu style for easy....etc click [Customize..] Button.
On Customize Start Menu click on Advanced Tab:
Then scroll to these check boxes and be sure they checked:
[√ ] Run Command
[√ ] Search

Thanks for your replies....but nothing has worked!
The run and search are both ticked.
None of the web urls are found by using 'run'.

Thanks Unc...but I was!

However.....I ran a clean-up utility and several files were removed to the
recycle bin and this seems to have solved the problem!
