How can I control what loads when the computer first
boot. I have a Hp system running XP home and it came with
alot of junk that I don't use and it all loads on startup.

a) Start>Run: type msconfig - look in last tab StartUp
b) Look for shortcuts in your Startup-Folder: Start>All Programs>Startup
