Does anyone know how to reduce the time it takes for the PC to start up?

Mine is now taking 4-5 mins+

Possibly as a result of Apps loading on startup.
Check your task bar apps, set the ones you dont require not to load on start
up.
Use safe mode boot logging option. examine resulting boot log and check for
any taking a long time to load.

Open Regstry Editor:
---------------------

Click START/RUN & type 'regedit' (without quotes) & press ENTER

Navigate to:
------------

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run-

Backup the above keys:
------------------------

Click the REGISTRY menu, click EXPORT REGISTRY FILE, choose a name/location

Deleting the keys in the right-hand pane:
----------------------------------------

You can then delete programs like Messengers, Quicktime, RealPlayer, and
programs like that.

DO NOT delete virus software from startup

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------

If you want, you can display your startup list on this thread & I will let
you know the ones that you can safely delete.

I hope this helps
