start-up programs when I turn on computer

each day when I turn on my computer it seems to take about 5 minutes before I can do anything at all. I think there are several programs that are set to launch as soon as the computer comes on. How do I manage which programs I want automatically launching at computer start up

Hi AZSports,

A good place to start would be to go to Start>Run, key in msconfig and then
click on the Startup tab. Click in the checkbox beside the entries that
refer to applications that you know you don't want to have loading at
startup. Click on Apply, OK and then restart your computer.
