start up install option keeps appearing

Hi

At work, while away, someone plugged there mobile/PDA device into my PC (not
a problem - hotdesking etc). However, every time I log in it comes up with,
device not deteched etc etc. Is there away of stopping this, as I can't see a
don't ask again box?

I guess it must be set to auto start.

Equally is there a way of getting any programme to auto start when opened?

Anyway any help greatly appreciated

The device was not removed properly.
