Is there away to know how much time it takes each file to start during the
windows start up?
It is just that I am curious to know these files who take much time to be
loaded when windows xp start?

Thanks.

You can/could time xp start up by adding to the services it starts with. You'd
start by running Msconfig. The method would be the same by using kb310560

Hi Adnan,

You may want to try MS BootVis, with one word of warning--MS no longer
distributes it. Even when they did, it was never a supported product. That
being said, it *is* still widely available. I've used it myself, and it is
very informative. It can be downloaded here:

brief description, and a link for the download.
