"start task bar is on the side, how can I fix this?

I just started this pc with xp installed about a month ago now. All of the
sudden, I found the start task bar that is usually on the bottom of the
screen to the right of the screen. Is there a way to fix this? As far as I
remember, all i've done recently is ugraded my video card to "intel extreme
graphics 2", coz for some reason, I was getting errors. Does this have to do
anything with that? Thanks.

Right click the Taskbar and make sure that "Lock the taskbar" is not
selected. Place the cursor over an empty spot on the TB and press/hold the
left mouse button and drag the TB down to the bottom of the screen.
 
Just left-click on the task bar and drag it back down to
the bottom of your screen. If you don't want it to move
again, after you get it back down to the bottom right-
click on it and select 'lock the taskbar.'
