This has to be something very easy, but I cannot figure it
out. How do I get my clean-up disk Icon back on the start
menu? And any Othere I may want? Thanks Very much!!!
Melissa

Hi Melissa,

The Start menu is nothing more than a collection of shortcuts. To replace a
missing entry, simply create a new shortcut in the appropriate folder. For
instance, for the Disk Cleanup utility, you would want to open Windows
Explorer to:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System
Tools

Then click file/new/shortcut, browse to cleanmgr.exe in the
C:\Windows\system32 folder and select it. Click next, then call it "Disk
Cleanup" and finish.

Worth adding that you can get there easily by a right-click on Start,
take 'Open All USers'. You will then have a window open all ready, with
that Programs folder visible, to open to lower levels.

Also, if you use Disk Cleanup a lot, you could put the shortcut at a
higher point, eg direct in Accessories to show at that menu
