Start menu problem

Hello. For some reason, all of a sudden, when going to start/all programs
and hovering the cursor over a folder that has subitems, the subitem list is,
well, transparent. I can't see any of the items. A transparent box opens,
but I can't see anything.

Please help me restore this.

This didn't seem to help. I can add that even when I hover my mouse in the
transparent submenu, nothing shows up then either.

No. The last thing I did was used Norton Partition Magic to create an extra
20GB partition from my primary hard drive.

Try a System Restore-see if that helps.

Yeah, I hated to have to resort to a restore, but I restored it and it's fixed.
