Start Menu Problem

Why are my shortcuts on my Start Menu doubling? I restart, and it's
back to normal, but I goto open it up and at times I see double the
items? I think it's more than doubling because I get the yellow pop-up
that says "all items cannot be shown".

I ran a virus scan, adware scan, and regisrty cleaner.

Where do your duplicated shortcuts reside? Check one particular
pair by right-clicking each in turn, then Properties, then the
General tab, then report the "Location" field..
