Start Menu Bug

I have a silly but very irritating problem which is drivng me nuts. My start
menu is not full - only 7 items and there's a lot of empty space. However,
when I clcik on the Start button, I get a balloon which says that some items
cannot be shown due to lack of space and that I should delete some items or
use smaller icons. Like I said, its not serious, but very irritating. Can
anyone please help me?

Right click the Start Menu and choose Properties.
Click Customize.
Select the radio button for Small icons.
