Start in the Middle

I am using PPT 2002 on Windows 2000 with screen resolution of 1280X1024. I
have slides with 20 to 50 animations. I need to adjust the position of
various components. I would like to see just the animations associated with
the adjusted component. I don't want to have to go through multiple Mouse
click to get to the part that I want to view.

I know about the Play Button in the Custom Animation Window, but this plays
ALL the animations. I want to have the show mode start with what I am
editing. Is there any way to go to the Show mode and have animations start
in the middle of the list?

BTW, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! and keep up the good work and very helpful support.

I don't think this is possible.

If you want to speed things up a little, you can "zoom out" to make the edit slide a little bit smaller.
