Start/Home Page

Help anyone!
I just downloaded IE6.0 from the Microsoft website and am
having trouble with my Home & Start Page. It won't remain
as I set it. I can't get my selected Home & Start page to
stay on my computer. I also have some annoying thing at
the bottom of the screen (like a search engine) called
wabu.passthrough that I don't want. I'm sure I'm doing
something wrong but can't figure it out.

search google for spybot and download it and run it to
remover spy programs.
