I want to start dos with a boot disc but thou I got the disc in the drive, XP keep on starting up. I don't know how to get into the computer setup. How can I solve this?

Windows XP is not based on the old MS-DOS platform,
hence, there is no DOS to boot into.

in windows xp, you can go to my computer, and right click
on 3 1/2 floppy a, then go to properties, and there should
be an option to create boot disk, or you can just go to
http://www.bootdisk.com and there is a download for a boot
disk there. these are the new boot disks you will create
if you follow my directions, and they should work when you
turn on your computer, but if not, turn on your computer
and hold the delete key (not backspace) then there should
be some settings there. go to advanced bios settings, and
set it so that the first boot is removable devices, if
there isnt an option for removable devices, then select 3
1/2 floppy a.
