Start Button

Hello, I am having problems with my start button and menu. On the start
button itself the word 'start' does not appear and on the actual menu my user
name does not appear next to my user picture. I have tried the solutions in
the knowledge base but these do not help. Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried a System Restore back to a point before the problems started?

Im guessing you already tried this hehe, try restarting the comptuer, it
normally works for most of the simpler problems, thats a weird error to get
though.
