hi, i don`t understand u !! what is the problem exactly ?
i saw the pic u attach it, but there is no problem .
waitting ur reply

Ok Tim,

Time to make and ass out of u and me and assume that you have changed the
appearance on your display properties to Silver instead of Blue XP default...
To change it back what you need to do is go to:

Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Display > Appearance Tab(at
top) > Click on the drop down box titled: color scheme > and click blue >
Then Apply and OK.

Hopefully that is what you mean. The start button in the screen shot is
meant to look like that using the XP color scheme Silver.

Good Luck

Timoteo, your start button does appear to be more pixellated than it should
be. Is the Start button the only feature of Windows that is experiencing
this problem?

No, I realize that I have the silver theme on; I guess my problem is that
when I look at my start button and my roommates, mine doesn't seem as smooth.
Hmm... maybe it's just my eyes, but we do have the EXACT same computer.

Tim, I quite agree, your Start Button is pixellated. Unless you have a wee
small monitor, I think something is going on. Now, I must ask, is the Start
Button the only aspect of your GUI that looks abnormal, or is everything in
your Window interface pixellated as well?
