Start button becomes a Go button

I was working on what is virtually a virgin XP SP2 system, installed
from a slipstreamed CD created more than a year ago. The only
application I had installed here was a defrag utility (OO Defrag free
version), and I had just installed another (Acronis TrueImage trial)
plus I created an internet connection.

At one point I suddenly see that my START button is an orange GO
button. I've never seen this before, and I certainly can't say what I
did immediately before this occurred. Also, I don't recall if this
happened before or after I connected to the web.

Any ideas why and how? Is this common knowledge that I've somehow
missed?

Check your CD drive... You have Bart's PE in it.

Heh, heh. Yeah, that's a possibility. I've been trying to get BartPe to
work, with no luck (keep on getting missing NVRAID.SYS message), and I
was about to use a DVD-RW disk for a TrueImage test. The disk probably
had BartPE on it. I suppose if I had previously managed to get BartPe
to work I would have recognised the GO button.

Thanks.

Well, it sounded good, but I just checked all my DVDs, and none of them
have any trace left of my earlier efforts with BartPE. Strange
coincidence, or???
