star up window in msconfig

We recently began receiving messsages fro Windows saying
there was an error and we had to close down whenever we
are on the internet.
Symantyc scan says there is a program on our strtup menu
that is interfering with on of Nortons porgrams
Our strtup menu in msconfig is to small to see entire
address/descriptions to know what anything is.
Is this a glitch in the system or a problem with our
computer?
Any ideas for help ?

That is about normal for msconfig. Did Norton tell you the name of the program giving you trouble. Look at this site for help on start up applications: http://www.greatis.com/regrun3appdatabase.htm

Nope, it just said to make sure a few thing were

checked,but I can only guess at what stuff is.
