Hi
We upgraded from office XP Pro to office 2003. Since the upgrade we have
been getting starnge errors.

When I open a excel document for example LET0104.xls all of the data is
correct. Secondly I open a previous version of the file for example
LET1103.xls all of the data in LET1103.xls is displayed and calculated
correctly but when I go back to LET0104.xls all of the data is replaced with
0 and none of the ormulas or links is calculated.

Hi Gerhard
- what formulas do you have in LET0104? Do they link to the other
opened sheet
- maybe automatic calculation is turned of (does hitting F9 help to
refresh the data)

HI Frank
The sheet links to other sheets in the same directory but not the opened
sheet. The sheet is a consolidation of monthly reports from different
divisions. Auto acalculation is turned on.

These sheets have been used with Excel 2002 without any problems. The
machine is a P4 2.4GHz with 512 MB memory. I do not believe it is a case of
processor power.

Does Execl 2003 calculate the formula's and links in a different way than
Excel 2002.

Hi
does hitting
CTRL+ALT+F9 help to re-calculate the entries?

For your question: Normally the Excel file should work without any
problems

Frank

I have to test that. I will get back to you in the morning.
