Lately whenever I come out of standby mode my outlook freezes up. Even when
the message sends to microsoft saying there is a problem I still can't close
the program. I have to shut it down at the power source to get it back up
and running. I had broadband installed a couple of months ago but this
problem just started when I learned about the Standby mode and started using
it, can anyone help me please.

Hard to say anything on this one without any version information of Outlook
and Windows.

Sorry, I am new to this. I have outlook 2003 and Windows XP

What is being logged to the Event Viewer regarding this?
Do you have all updates installed for both Windows and Office?
