Standby command

What is the standby command for windows xp? Like to go to start>run> and
type in a command to put the computer to standby.

As far as I know there isn't. No need for alarm...

Shutdown.exe:

nm, i have to disable hibernation for it to work

You may try this shutdown.exe utility

Yes.You have to disable hibernation for it to work.
