I updated to Vista. I was administrator. I created a new account administrtor.I changed my account to Standard User. My now Standard User account still behaves like administrator when I try to do things like change another user to administrator, uninstall, install. It only asks for permission but not requiring the administrator password and the change takes place! CERTAINLY the standard user ought not be able to change himself or others to administrator, but I can! WHY and how to fix it?

Did you create a password for the administrator account?

I did and it works now. The password has always been there but it did
not seem to take effect until after I had logged off or rebooted, not
sure which did it or if that is needed. IMHO it should not require
either.
