Stanby problem

Hi,
I'm using XP Home and when I try to enter stanby or
hibernate XP hangs displaying only preparing to
standby/hibernate. Please someone help!

Hi Hasen,

Did it used to work?

If so, then you installed/updated a driver that is non-compliant with the
standby function. To resolve the issue, use the rollback button on the
driver tab of the piece of updated or installed hardware's properties in
Device Manager.

If not, then one or more of your drivers does not support standby. The
solution here is usually to update the system hardware's drivers directly
from the manufacturer.
