Hello fellow head-scratchers!
I used to be able to edit programs loaded on StartUp using Windows
Explorer, but now with XP, I can see it no longer exists or is carefully
hidden. Being a bit of a gamer I tend to download lots of crap, so I have a
lot of little pesky programs starting up when windows does, and it slows
down my whole freakin day.
How do I find the list of programs that "Run at Start Up" for editing?
On a different note, my Athlon XP 2500+ (Desktop, not the "M" series I
understand is very tweakable) Processor used to be unstable with my Radeon
Video card, so my former tech guy dumbed down the processor speed. I
understand you can just cut the voltage to make it more stable, anyway..
I have a GeForce card now, the system is super stable, and I wais to up the
speed to at least the Athlon Specs, if not even to tweak it a bit later. My
tech guy is in Korea, and I don't know what he did.
Is it the multiplier setting in BIOS?
Helpme, dammit!
;-)
