Square Footage Calculator

I am looking for a program which can determine square footage based on a drawn
diagram.

A benefit it can determine perimeters as well.

WinXP AND Linux programs or versions of the same program desired.

A plus would be Win Pocket PC, Palm, Java and BREW versions for mobile devices
too.

Also, if you already own a spreadsheet program, you can find the
formulas to calculate square feet and perimeters for free on the Net.

Okay, the spredsheet isn't freeware (unless it's Open Office, but the
forumlas are readily available on websites free of charge---I'm trying
to be helpful---gimme a break here. ;)

It sounds like you need a CAD app. . . see the ACF pages for some
possibilities (dunno which ones can calculate areas):
