What I've done is add the SQL button to the queries toolbar
(instead of a subbutton in the view button). Now, when I
create a new query, I add the table, drag the fields to the
grid (saves a lot of typing) and click my SQL button. From
then on in, since the query was saved in SQL view, it opens
in SQL view when I want to make further design changes.
