sql svr 7 on w2k pro ??

greetings, here's the scenario:

i have a w2k pro machine and a w98se machine.

i'd like to network them and have the 2kpro machine
serve up sqlsvr7 data to my w98se machine.

sounds simple but i can't find a simple answer..

any help is appreciated.
 
You cannot install Sql server 7.0 on windows 2000 pro or win98 .Only sql 7.0
desktop edition can be installed on win2000 pro ,win98,win95 etc.It has some
limitations.
