Do I need to have SQL Server on my computer?
Recently an update to SQL Server service back 2, failed to install, so I
decided to consider reinstalling SQL Server. Therefore, I uninstalled it and
wondered what the function really was, because my computer seems to be
working fine without it.
So my question is, do I really need to have SQL Server installed in my
computer

SQL SERVER is a database application that when you write database
applications (not MS Access) can handle the data over 2 Gb unlike Access.

Unless you are a programmer, database administartor or have your own
database driven website its fine to have it removed
