SQL Server 2000 warnings

When I updated SQL Server, information or warning appeared in the system
tray. Shouldn't that be trusted without giving information or warnings? If
giving too much warnings, people stop caring about it anymore.

What color were the prompts. There are information prompts, even for known
trusted programs. What do you think--are such prompts "too talky?" Should
they just be logged?
