Has anyone received a solicitation from Enigma Software Group concerning a free download of a spyware scanner? Is it safe and does it work? Thanks
 
I would not use anything that was a email solicitation. To get rid of
spyware I use Ad Aware 6, It is free at www.lavasoftusa.com, and is safe to
use.

Thanks. It came as a popup which worried me more except that it implied it was involved with windows.
