By comparison with viruses, spyware is very bad news. Now I have various anti-spyware programs that eliminate spyware AFTER it has already been on my computer. Is there a program [or are there programs] that prevent spyware BEFORE spyware comes onboard, sort of like how a good anti-virus program works?

lavasoft's Adware Comes with ADWATCH ..
not sure if it is included with The FREE version , But I know it comes
with MY Version since I paid for ADWARE !
