Hello to all. My 12 year old daughter has a habit of visiting sites with
"free" teen oriented screensavers, desktops, etc. I have NAV running in
auto-protect mode and run Ad-Aware and Spy-Bot almost daily. Recently I
notice a startup program from a company identified as "hfg" with 5 or six
letters. Each time I disable it, it shows up again as another 5 or 6 letter
name. Currently it is "cydzvi.exe" in the C:\Windows directory. The registry
location is "HKLM|SOFTWARE|Microsoft|Windows|CurrentVersion|Run"
No matter how I try, I can't seem to get rid of this, whatever the h*#^ it
is! It's annoying me to no end, particularly since I just got the PC going
again after accidentally deleting "lsass.exe" in my zealousness to clean up.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Morey G.
