Spyware hyjacking computer

I am helping a friend fix his computer after his kids downloaded 100's of
adware. 2 things I cannot remember to fix:

1. When I click on default home page it comes up with a www.smartbiz.com
(or some variation there of). How do I change the default home page?

2. When I type in a web address into the address bar it adds it onto the
default address and of course cannot find the site. i.e. when I type in
www.msn.com it comes up with www.smartbiz.comwww.msn.com.

in ie tools/internet options type you new homepage

I have run ad aware but it will not fix this one problem.

I know. But if you look at the three option, one is use current, one is use
default, and the other is use blank. well the fourth option is to enter in
a home page but the problem is the spyware has actually changed the default
to its home page(when I click on use default). I am wondering how to change
the default page.

Glad you got it. That's what I was going to say. Run them all. Some of them
get ones that others don't so you have to use all three all the time.
