Spreadsheet not saved

I'm using excel 2000 and it seems that when I try to save
data it's not always saved. When I go back to the
spreadsheet a few days later my update/ entries do not
appear.I make a concious effort to Ctrl/S very frequently.
Is this a common problem? Or am i going senile.

Do you get any error/warning messages?

If no, then it could be senility <vbg>. And you could be saving to a different
folder. You may want to use windows|Find to search for recently changed *.xls
file (on the Date tab of windows|Find????).
