I have a fairly new system that will reboot every once and
a while {2-5 minutes}. I've tried different power
cords..to no avail. The guy that built the system replaced
the MB ,HD, and ram on it. It's a 1.8 with a 100GB HD
running W2K. Could this be a virus? I've had a hard time
getting it to run long enough to install any software to
check it out. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Check Event Viewer for errors.

Open task manager and under the process tab see if you see a msblast.exe I
see this issue with the BLAST virus.
