Spoolsv.exe uses 99% CPU

Dan

Have added a new computer running XPPro to a microsoft
network using file and printer sharing. Other machines
are Win98SE. Everything seems to work, except the
spoolsv.exe runs on the XP machine all the time and uses
99% of system resources slowing down the XP machine to a
crawl. I can end process on it and it seems to be okay
for awhile, then it starts up again. Any suggestions?

This is most likely a driver issue, most likely a printer driver, possibly
a video driver or a netware client
