spontaneous shut down

my computer keeps shutting down after being idle for
about 20 minutes. it's not hibernate nor standby because
my computer's power options are set not to
standby/hibernate... let alone shut down! what's going
on?

This feature can also be initiated from the bios. Go into setup at boot
up(usually by pressing the Del key) and check power saving settings.
