Spliting a column

I have a field that contains first name and last name
combined in one column. Is there a way to split this
into two columns, one containing the first name and one
containing the last name, perhaps by using the space
between the first and last name?

Thanks in advance for your advice

Bill

Assuming you have only First and Last names (and not any middl
initials) the easiest way is to highlight the column and use Data
Text to Columns, using the space as the delimiter.
:cool

Have a look at data, text to columns
