Had installed SH2 + two add ons, (approx. 1900MB), ran great. Then also installed Microsoft 2004 Flightsim; ran great. I then discovered that the SH2 game was now running as split screen--half the screen was to the left, and right, with the center of screen empty. I also discovered that the Windows XP log on logo was off center, to the left. I then uninstalled the flightsim, but still had the problems. I then uninstalled SH2 and it's add ons, and then reinstalled SH2, but still had the split screen problem; how can I correct these problems? Please help. Thank you.

Were you still getting problems once you had removed SH2?

First thing I'd try would be updating your video drivers, if you need to
work out what hardware you've got check the Windows link in my sig.

Also might be worth trying using system restore to see if that resolves the
issue, then try again.

Check the software is running your monitor in a supported refresh rate, and
use the controls to centre any changes, running at different rates can
require the monitor to be re-centred.

Go into your advanced display settings and change the refresh rate for
whaterver resolution SH2 (I have NO idea what that stands for) runs at. You
may have to adjust the screen size and position in the advanced display
settings as well. A video driver update may not be necessary.
