Having just finished loading software and an Audigy 2 card into my new
homebuilt I was wondering....

On boot, after the desktop (Windows XP Pro) comes up there is a splashscreen
that appears from Creative apparently related to the soundcard or its
associated accessory software. Anyone know how to get rid of the
splashscreen..is that possible in the configuration?

In the same vein, I have McAfee antivirus on the system and that, too, has a
splashscreen at boot that tells what is protected and that there is no
Firewall, spam etc filters from McAfee on the computer. Is it possible to just
have it protect without having to see this whole splashscreen?
