When spell-check finds a questionable word, the cursor 'jumps' to CHANGE.
If I want to keep the spelling, I click IGNORE or IGNORE ALL, but when there
is a different questionable spelling, the cursor again jumps to CHANGE.
While I hate to 'beat the dead horse' by comparing WM to OE, I preferred
OE's having the cursor default to the last selection - that is if I chose
IGNORE or IGNORE ALL) previously, on the next occurrence, the cursor would
continue to point to IGNORE, etc. Is there a way to accomplish that in WM?

Since I'm not having other problems, I guess I'll bite the bullet and live
with it. Had considered going to Windows Live Mail, but since I'm reading
about some significant beta problems with it, will hold on until it gets a
bit better.

Thanks for the quick reply.

What significant beta problems? For me, WLM is more stable an
bug-free than WM.
