Have spent over 2 1/2 hours trying to use the tips to get this working and
come up empty-handed each time!!

Anyone else with a NEW and proven solution to the "Language not enabled"
message?

jimbo (not very jolly today!)

If you included replies from others, we would know what answer(s) did not
work for you.
ALWAYS include at least the latest replies.

Hi jollyjimbo
Open Windows mail, on the Menu bar select Tools, on the context menu that
opens select Options, this will open the Options dialog window select the
Spelling tab, then select the Language button, a list of languages will drop
down, select a language other than the one you wanted to spell check in and
then click on the Apply button. Now chose the language you do want to spell
check to be set for an click Apply and then the OK button. Test the spell
checking when composing. If the settings did not set do the same as above
again but click the OK button after the Apply button each time. All that
means is you would have had to open the Options and spelling tab twice.

thanks for this hint......just using the board for 2nd time and don't "know
the protocols!"

BIG "THANK YOU"......you've solved this mystery! Hope anyone else will see
your post and save themselves the frustration Windows put me (and everyone
else) through!

You are not alone in this problem, the answer has been posted at least 100 time.
You can review posting by going to http://groups.google.com and enter your problem statement.
You will then see past postings that relate to that problem.
