Spell check

After a re-format and re-install of XP/SP2 I also had to re-install
all my programs. I am still using Word 97, it does everything I want
it to do, but now the spell check doesn't work. The tab is gray in
Options. Tried removing and re-re-installing, still the same.

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.

Hi David,

Word 97 has a problem with some of the permissions on registry entries
in Windows 2000 or XP. This article describes how to fix it:
