When I type in the following sentence “th e co w jumped over the ca r I n the
yard.†On the “th†is flagged. None of the single letters are questioned.
How can this be corrected?

How can single letters be misspelled?

While “I†and “A†are words; “Dâ€, “B†and “Q†are just letters and not
complete words. The question becomes, why doesn’t office detect incomplete
words containing less than 2 letters. If I am typing quickly and mean to
type “on†but accidentally put a space between the 2 letters so that it
becomes “o nâ€, it is not flagged.

Every letter can be a word. I can get an A in English and a B in math. Or I
can search for the number of instances of q in a document. Or I can number
lists using a, b, and c. If Word questioned such uses as this, I would find
it very tiresome.
